Supporting a Child-Friendly Learning Environment
BOHOL - The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, extended financial assistance to Barangay Basacdacu in Alburquerque to support improvements at its Barangay Day Care Center. A total of PHP46,000 was turned over during a ceremonial handover at the New Capitol Building on August 28, 2026, with Executive Assistant Oscar Valle presenting the assistance to the barangay representative.
Strengthening Grassroots Community Development
The assistance reflects the PGBh's continuing efforts to provide responsive support to local communities and address needs identified at the grassroots level. By assisting barangays with projects that directly benefit residents, the provincial government strengthens community participation and promotes inclusive local development. The initiative also demonstrates how relatively targeted assistance can contribute to improving facilities and services within local communities.
