Spain Named Official Global Destination Partner
Leading this year’s expo is the Spain Tourism Board, serving as the official global destination partner following last year’s collaboration with Switzerland. The partnership underscores the increasing interest among Filipino couples in European destination weddings and honeymoons, with Spain offering a rich mix of culture, history, gastronomy, and scenic venues. “We chose the Philippine market because Filipino travelers place great value on meaningful celebrations,” said Marta Fernandez Martin during a press luncheon with lifestyle media and industry leaders held at Cantabria by Chele Gonzalez in mid-May. Organizers are also preparing a curated familiarization trip to Spain to further strengthen collaborations related to weddings, honeymoons, and experiential travel.
Creative and Hospitality Industries Unite
Joining the expo for the first time is Marriott International Philippines, representing 14 hotel properties nationwide and highlighting the growing partnership between global hospitality brands and the Philippine celebrations sector. A special collaborative installation will also be presented by renowned event stylists Gideon Hermosa, Michael Ruiz, and Teddy Manuel, who are widely recognized for shaping luxury wedding experiences in the Philippines. They will be joined by acclaimed filmmaker Jason Magbanua along with leading photography teams Mayad Studios, ProudRad, Metrophoto, and Wishing Well, bringing together some of the country’s most influential names in wedding storytelling and visual documentation.
