MAKATI CITY — After a three-year hiatus, Panaderya Toyo has officially reopened its doors, once again filling Makati with the comforting aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries. The bakery resumed operations in June 2026 from its new takeout window at the Karrivin Plaza driveway along Pasong Tamo Extension. Staying faithful to the charm of traditional Filipino bakeries, the new location allows customers to select their baked goods from an open display and take them on the go.
A Bakery Experience Rooted in Filipino Tradition
Designed to capture the familiar feel of a neighborhood panaderya, the setup offers a straightforward and interactive experience: customers choose their preferred items, have them wrapped, and enjoy them wherever they please. The relaunched Panaderya Toyo is a collaboration between Chefs Jordy and May Navarra, the husband-and-wife team behind the Michelin-starred Toyo Eatery. In addition to its baked specialties, the bakery also offers coffee selections that pair well with its pastries and breads.
Familiar Favorites Make Their Return
The bakery continues to serve the signature items that helped build its loyal following. Among the returning favorites are Potpot Pandesal, Leche Pan, and Bicho available in tsoko, saba, and keso (cheese) varieties. Guests can also enjoy savory offerings such as Kesong Puti Inipit and Egg Inipit, making the bakery an ideal stop for breakfast, merienda, or a quick snack throughout the day.
A New Home for a Community Favorite
Panaderya Toyo is open from Monday to Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. and operates until stocks run out. Located at 2316 Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City, the bakery offers residents and visitors an easy way to enjoy freshly baked Filipino breads and pastries crafted by a team known for celebrating local flavors and culinary traditions.
