MAKATI CITY — The country's most anticipated craft beer celebration is back, bigger and hoppier than ever. From May 8 to 10, 2026, the Mabrewhay Craft Beer Festival will return to the lush lawns of Ayala Triangle Gardens, transforming the business district into a beer lover's paradise. Organized by Engkanto Brewery and co-presented by Ayala Land, Make It Makati, and Insignia Presents, the three-day event brings together the finest local brewers for a celebration of craft beer, food, and music. Best of all, admission remains completely free, making it one of the most accessible food and drink festivals in the city.
A Showcase of the Country's Best Brewers
The 2026 edition of Mabrewhay will feature an impressive roster of many local brews, offering visitors a chance to sample a wide range of styles, from crisp, refreshing pilsners to bold, hoppy IPAs. Among the participating breweries are heavyweights like Engkanto Brewery, Elias Wicked Ales & Spirits, Monkey Eagle Brewery, and Papa Bolo, as well as Mitchell's Backyard Brewery and Palm Tree Abbey. The festival also shines a spotlight on the wider brewing community, with participation from the Philippine Craft Beer Association and the Manila Mashers Homebrewing Club.
A Feast for the Senses
Beyond the beer, Mabrewhay 2026 offers a complete sensory experience designed to complement every pour. Festivalgoers can indulge in a curated selection of mouthwatering food from an eclectic mix of merchants, including El Born, Butterboy, Sidechick, Jabroni's Fiasfud, Wok Hey, and Yardstick. Adding to the culinary lineup are world-class burgers by renowned chef Alvin Cailan, alongside offerings from Engkanto Taps and other local favorites. The event will also feature a sensory booth showcasing brewing ingredients from Yakima Chief Hops, helping attendees deepen their appreciation for the craft. Lifestyle and retail brands, including Destilera Barako and Polilya, will also be on hand.
A Weekend of Music, Competition, and Community
The atmosphere at Ayala Triangle Gardens will be electric, with live entertainment scheduled throughout the weekend. Attendees can look forward to performances from local bands and DJs such as fitterkarma, Nameless Kids, bird., August Wahh, OZO, Anima Tierra, and many more. For those interested in the competitive side of brewing, the Asia Brewers Network will host the Brew King Philippines 2026 competition, where amateur and professional brewers will battle for the crown. The festival schedule is as follows: Friday, May 8 from 4 PM to 1 AM, Saturday, May 9 from 12 NN to 1 AM, and Sunday, May 10 from 12 NN to 10 PM.
