The Pampanga Matcha Fest is happening once again at Orchard: A Community Place in Barangay Telabastagan, San Fernando, Pampanga. Following the success of its debut in October 2025, the festival has become a vibrant celebration of the province's growing café culture, bringing together local artisans and matcha enthusiasts for a weekend of flavor and community.
A Celebration of Kapampangan Café Culture
The Pampanga Matcha Fest first brewed up excitement in October 2025 at The Orchard Community Place, gathering 11 merchants including Anne Whisk, Artisanos, Be Sweet, Hakone Coffee and Ice Cream, Hash, Ikigai, Leaf & Bean Slow Bar, Mandatory Matcha, Matcha by Ell & Cass, Mizu Maccha & Coffee, and Whisk & Sip . The debut festival featured the first-ever Matcha Latte Art Throwdown in the Philippines, where 16 baristas from Pampanga, Manila, Bataan, and Olongapo competed for the top spot . Mark Dy, Hakone co-owner, shared his vision for the event: "We are giving the spotlight to fellow cafés here in Pampanga which is a growing community" . Beyond the competition, the festival transformed into a Matcha Day Clubbing session with live music, filling the night with energy and green lights.
What to Expect at the Upcoming Fest
This year's edition promises the same vibrant celebration of matcha and community that made the first festival a hit. Local favorites like Whisk & Sip and Artisanos are set to return, offering their signature matcha creations and showcasing the artistry behind every cup.
