ChizMozza was first established in 2016 by Marydae Hannah Ramos, who had dreamed of starting a food cart business since high school. She came up with the idea of selling mozzarella sticks after seeing a video about them on Facebook, and handled the recipe and promotion herself. The business kept growing through the pandemic and has expanded to around 30 outlets across the country.
