Choobi-Choobi was founded by Stan Tanchan and first opened in 2013 as his first restaurant venture, drawing on his family's seafood farm, one of the largest in the Philippines. The restaurant was inspired by his grandfather's love of food and recipes passed down in the family. Its name is a Chinese phrase meaning very satisfied after eating.
