Taiwanese restaurant known for its xiaolongbao
Since 2015
Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese restaurant known for its xiaolongbao, brought to the Philippines by The Moment Group in 2015. Its Greenbelt 3 branch in Makati City serves xiaolongbao, noodles, fried rice, dumplings, wontons, buns and desserts.
Din Tai Fung began in Taiwan in 1958 as a cooking oil retailer founded by Yang Bing-yi and his wife, Lai Penmei. Its xiaolongbao grew so popular that it stopped selling oil and became a full restaurant in 1972; the original restaurant is on Xinyi Road in Taipei. The Moment Group brought the brand to the Philippines in 2015 with its branch at SM Megamall.
