Hen Lin began in 1983, when its owners ventured into the business to augment their income, perfecting their siomai recipe in their own kitchen with help from their children. The couple commissioned a Hong Kong chef to give their dimsum an authentic Chinese flavor. From its first outlet in BF Homes, Parañaque, the brand grew to more than a hundred branches.
