Jafar's was founded in 2014 as a kiosk in Banilad Town Centre, bringing Middle Eastern flavors to Cebu with shawarma wraps, rice dishes and salads. It expanded to Rustan's Ayala Center Cebu in 2015 and opened its flagship store at Banilad Town Centre in 2020, and now has branches across Cebu City, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu.
