Lido Cocina Tsina started as Panciteria Lido, a humble eatery in Chinatown, Binondo, Manila, founded in 1936 by a Cantonese chef known as Mr. Lido. It became famous for its pugon-roasted asado, a cured pork loin roasted over firewood in a brick oven. Today it has grown into a full-service restaurant with multiple branches that still follows its original recipes.
