On May 10, 1995, the Ramcar Group of Companies acquired the Mister Donut master franchise for the Philippines from Duskin Company, Ltd. Mister Donut-Philippines now has over 2,000 shops and outlets, including tie-ups with 7-Eleven and petroleum shops, supplied by 20 plants across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Its donuts are made to a "tamang-tamang tamis" sweetness suited to the Filipino palate.
