Since 1936

Engracia "Asiang" Cruz-Reyes started a mobile canteen in Luneta in the 1930s that served sandwiches filled with adobo, fish fillet and other Filipino favorites. Asiang introduced the chicken barbecue the restaurant is known for, and branches in Cubao and Ermita followed.
