A Celebration of Negrense Talent and Innovation
The Bulawan Trade Fair has transformed SM City Bacolod into a vibrant showcase of local creativity, featuring a wide range of products from across Negros Occidental. Visitors can explore handcrafted home décor, artisanal accessories, woven products, food specialties, and other locally made goods that reflect the province’s rich culture and craftsmanship. The event also features innovative product concepts presented through the Bulawan Awards, Pilak Awards, and Balik Salig Design Competition, providing a platform for new ideas and emerging entrepreneurs.
Creating Opportunities for Local Entrepreneurs
Organized in partnership with the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), the trade fair serves as more than just a marketplace. It gives MSMEs greater visibility, helps them connect with customers, and opens doors to larger business opportunities through SM Supermalls’ nationwide network. Organizers believe the event plays a key role in helping local enterprises grow beyond their communities and develop into competitive regional and national brands.
Supporting Communities Through Every Purchase
Beyond promoting business growth, the Bulawan Trade Fair also contributes to community development. Many of the products on display are created by local artisans, community-based enterprises, and livelihood groups from across Negros Occidental. Through workshops, design presentations, and cultural activities, the fair encourages visitors to learn about the stories behind the products they purchase. Organizers say that every sale helps support livelihoods, preserve local traditions, and strengthen entrepreneurship throughout the province.
