The Countdown Is Already Underway
BACOLOD - Preparations are taking shape at the Mansilingan Activity Center, which will serve as the official headquarters of the Batang Pinoy 2026 Secretariat. The site was inspected as part of the city's continuing preparations, with attention focused on the facilities and operations needed to support the major youth sporting event. With December approaching, every detail—from coordination to venue readiness—becomes part of creating a positive experience for the athletes and delegations arriving in Bacolod.
A New Sports Venue Is Already Seeing Action
The newly built BCNHS football pitch is also becoming part of Bacolod's busy sports calendar. The facility is temporarily serving as a competition venue for a national youth archery competition after heavy rain damaged the original venue at CHMSU–Alijis. The development gives the new pitch an early opportunity to serve athletes while demonstrating how sports facilities can provide flexible spaces for different competitions.
Young Athletes Will Take Center Stage
Batang Pinoy is more than a competition—it is an opportunity for young athletes to test themselves, meet fellow competitors, and gain experience that can shape their sporting journeys. With Bacolod preparing its headquarters, venues, and support systems ahead of December 12, the city is setting the stage for an event filled with energy and ambition. Soon, the focus will shift from preparation to performance, as young athletes arrive ready to chase personal bests, represent their communities, and take their next steps toward bigger sporting dreams.
