Young Musical Talents Take Center Stage
BOHOL - The Bohol Island Geopark takes center stage as host of the NAMCYA Padayaw 2026 Regional Semifinals, bringing together young musical talents from across the Visayas. Held at the Bohol Cultural Center in Tagbilaran City, the Choir and Rondalla Competition gives young performers an opportunity to showcase their musical excellence, artistic abilities, and dedication to Filipino music. The event creates a lively gathering where emerging musicians can share their talents while celebrating the rich musical traditions of the region.

The event is organized by the National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bohol through the Bohol Center for Culture and Arts Development, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Okada Manila, and the Tagbilaran City Government, with support from DepEd Philippines and the National Museum of the Philippines. Hosting the regional semifinals highlights Bohol’s continuing role in promoting arts, culture, and youth development.
