Building Stronger Emergency Response Skills
BOHOL - The Provincial Government of Bohol, under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado, continues to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities across local establishments. Through the PDRRMO-TaRSIER 117, the provincial government conducted a lecture and demonstration on Basic Life Support–Standard First Aid and the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management System for personnel of Bohol Casa Niño Hotel & Resort in Danao, Panglao. The activity provided participants with important knowledge and practical skills that can help them respond appropriately when medical emergencies or disaster situations occur.

Promoting Preparedness and Immediate Assistance
The training focused on enhancing participants’ ability to provide immediate and appropriate care during emergencies while strengthening their understanding of disaster response procedures. Demonstrations and discussions allowed personnel to become more familiar with essential emergency response competencies that can help protect guests, employees, and surrounding communities. The activity also emphasized that preparedness is an important part of reducing risks, particularly in establishments that regularly accommodate residents and visitors.

Supporting a Safer and More Resilient Bohol
The initiative forms part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to build stronger disaster preparedness and response capabilities throughout Bohol. By equipping personnel of local establishments with basic life support, first aid, and disaster risk reduction knowledge, the province can strengthen its network of people capable of providing assistance during emergencies. The program supports the PGBh Strategic Governance Roadmap 2028 and contributes to the goal of building a safer and more resilient Bohol while protecting communities within the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark.
