Building Skills Beyond the Farm
BOHOL - The training focused on practical skills that young agricultural leaders can use when managing their organizations. Participants received hands-on learning in proper record-keeping, communication, documentation, and basic financial management, giving them tools that extend beyond agricultural activities themselves. Keeping accurate organizational and financial records can help youth groups maintain better systems as they carry out projects and activities. The sessions therefore placed equal attention on leadership responsibilities and the day-to-day management skills needed to support an organization.
Preparing Young Leaders to Take Responsibility
For 4-H Club Bohol members, organizational knowledge can become an important part of developing confidence as future agricultural leaders. The training provided participants with opportunities to understand how proper documentation and responsible financial practices contribute to organized group operations. These lessons can also help young leaders communicate more effectively and make informed decisions within their respective organizations. By giving young Bol-anons practical responsibilities and management skills, the program creates a stronger foundation for their continued participation in agriculture and community activities.
