The Tagaytay Tourist Iconic Tower is rising along Crisanto M. De Los Reyes Avenue in Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City, within the Tagaytay Government Center and near Sky Ranch . This multi-phase government infrastructure project, a joint initiative of the City Government of Tagaytay and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), is envisioned to become a premier tourism destination and the tallest structure in Cavite.
A Multi-Phase Infrastructure Investment
The project is being implemented in successive phases under DPWH contracts, with initial development included in the agency's FY 2021 infrastructure program . According to official DPWH documents, more than PHP1 billion has already been allocated for the project's various construction phases, with Phase 15 also included in the government's Fiscal Year 2026 Infrastructure Program .
The total number of floors and the official target completion date have yet to be publicly disclosed, but the project has undergone geotechnical and soil investigations to ensure structural stability given Tagaytay's seismic setting and proximity to Taal Volcano .
A Multi-Use Destination with Panoramic Views
At the heart of the tower's appeal is a state-of-the-art, 360-degree observation deck offering visitors unparalleled panoramic views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano . Beyond the viewing platform, the development is designed as a vertical lifestyle hub that integrates tourism and leisure, dining and retail, and commercial spaces .
Once operational, the tower is expected to attract more visitors, generate employment opportunities, create revenue for the city through the lease of commercial spaces, and further strengthen Tagaytay's position as one of the Philippines' leading tourism destinations . Local officials envision the tower as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth, aiming to concentrate premium retail, leisure, and viewing experiences within a single high-rise footprint to minimize urban sprawl while maximizing local employment and tourism revenue.
