Facebook User Data Deletion Instructions

In accordance with Meta Platform Terms and data privacy regulations, this page provides step-by-step instructions on how to revoke app permissions and request the permanent deletion of your Facebook data from HomesPH.

Overview and Data Deletion Policy

HomesPH ("Homes Posting" application) complies with Meta Platform Terms regarding user data privacy and data deletion. You have the right to request the deletion of any data obtained through Facebook Login or the Meta Graph API at any time.

  • HomesPH only requests Facebook permissions strictly necessary for managing and scheduling property posts (pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_manage_posts, pages_manage_metadata).

  • All Facebook user and Page access tokens are stored with AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption at rest and are never sold or shared with third parties.

  • You can revoke HomesPH permissions at any time through your Facebook account settings or directly within the HomesPH administrative dashboard.

  • Upon receiving a data deletion request, HomesPH will immediately purge all stored access tokens, connected account credentials, and cached profile metadata associated with your Facebook account.

How to Remove HomesPH and Revoke Permissions on Facebook

You can immediately revoke access to your Facebook account and managed Pages directly from your Facebook settings by following these simple steps:

  • Step 1: Log in to your Facebook account and click your profile picture in the top right corner.

  • Step 2: Navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

  • Step 3: In the left sidebar under the "Your activity" section, select Apps and Websites.

  • Step 4: Locate the Homes Posting application in your active apps list.

  • Step 5: Click the Remove button next to the application.

  • Step 6: (Optional) Select the checkbox if you wish to delete past posts published through the app, then click Remove to confirm.

How to Request Deletion of Stored Facebook Data from HomesPH

If you want HomesPH to completely delete all stored data, tokens, and metadata linked to your Facebook account, you can submit a deletion request through any of the following methods:

  • Method 1 (Instant In-App Disconnect): Log in to your HomesPH Dashboard, navigate to Facebook Autopost > Facebook Pages, and click "Disconnect" on any connected Page. This instantly and permanently deletes all stored Page Access Tokens and deactivates automated publishing.

  • Method 2 (Email Request): Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject line "Facebook User Data Deletion Request". Please include your Facebook User ID, Facebook Page Name, and the registered HomesPH email address associated with your account.

  • Method 3 (Official Support Ticket): Create a support ticket from your HomesPH admin dashboard requesting data deletion under the Data Privacy category.

Section 04

Data Deletion Timeline and Confirmation

HomesPH processes all Facebook data deletion requests promptly in accordance with applicable data privacy regulations and Meta Platform policies.

  • In-app disconnections take effect immediately in real time.

  • Email and support ticket data deletion requests are reviewed and fulfilled within 48 to 72 business hours.

  • Once processed, all encrypted access tokens, authorization scopes, Facebook User IDs, and cached avatar assets are permanently wiped from our databases.

  • You will receive an email confirmation and a tracking confirmation code once the data deletion process has been finalized.
