ILOILO CITY — Tourism and festive family entertainment take center stage in Western Visayas as Festive Walk Iloilo officially opens registration for its much-anticipated Halloween celebration, Festival de los Muertos. The cultural lifestyle destination is inviting local families, travelers, and young vacationers to experience a lively, Mexican-inspired Halloween fiesta inside the premier shopping complex.
Starting October 15 through October 30, 2026, visitors can register young adventurers aged 1 to 10 years old at the Concierge Area located near the Indoor Atrium. To qualify for registration, shoppers simply need to present a single-receipt purchase worth a minimum of ₱1,500 from any participating mall tenant dated within the official promo period.
Upon successful receipt validation, registered children will be issued an official event pass wristband alongside an exclusive Halloween loot bag filled with delightful seasonal surprises. The wristband grants youngsters access to the interactive Halloween Fiesta activity booths stationed at the heart of the mall, creating an immersive playground designed to boost local family travel and lifestyle engagement.
The high-spirited celebration culminates on October 31, 2026, with main festivities launching at 1:00 PM in the Indoor Atrium. The highly anticipated Trick or Treat portion remains completely free for all mallgoers starting at 4:00 PM, giving costumed children one full hour to explore participating stores and gather treats throughout the vibrant commercial hub.
As Iloilo City continues to strengthen its position as a top family destination, events like Festival de los Muertos highlight the region’s rich hospitality, community warmth, and dynamic retail tourism offerings. Local and visiting families are encouraged to prepare creative costumes early, join the festive gather, and make memorable October holiday moments together.
