Discover the Stories Behind Bohol’s Handcrafted Products
BOHOL - Every handmade product carries a story of skill, creativity, and the community behind its creation. At the Artisans Village, visitors can explore goods that celebrate Bohol’s natural and cultural heritage while discovering the talent of local makers. These creations offer more than visual appeal: they represent the knowledge, effort, and identity that artisans bring to their work. By presenting their products at a major trade event, Boholano MSMEs can help introduce the province’s craftsmanship to buyers, designers, and visitors seeking distinctive Filipino-made pieces.
Opening Opportunities for Boholano MSMEs
Participating in Manila FAME gives local enterprises a platform to present their products beyond their home province. Trade exhibitions can help small businesses connect with potential buyers, explore market opportunities, and learn more about changing preferences in design and lifestyle products. For Boholano artisans, the event also creates an opportunity to demonstrate how locally inspired creations can appeal to customers who value handmade quality, cultural identity, and meaningful design. Greater exposure can help strengthen the connection between local craftsmanship and broader markets, supporting the continued development of Bohol’s creative enterprises.
Keeping Bohol’s Heritage Alive Through Creativity
Bohol’s participation in Manila FAME highlights the value of preserving cultural identity while creating new opportunities for local businesses. Supporting homegrown artisans helps recognize the people behind handmade products and encourages the continuation of traditional skills alongside contemporary design. As visitors explore the Artisans Village from October 15–17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, they can discover how Bohol’s heritage inspires products made for modern homes and lifestyles. The showcase is also a reminder that supporting local craftsmanship can help keep community stories, creative traditions, and livelihood opportunities moving forward.
