GENERAL SANTOS CITY - Five hundred twenty-three beneficiaries in General Santos City received PHP15,000 each through the Sustainable Livelihood Program, according to the August 2026 announcement provided by the local source. The grants represent direct livelihood assistance rather than a general cash distribution, with the SLP designed to help qualified participants pursue income-generating opportunities. For the recipients, the amount can provide starting capital for a small enterprise or support an existing livelihood activity. The distribution also places financial resources directly in the hands of individuals and families who are being assisted through the program. At PHP15,000 per recipient, the combined assistance represented approximately PHP7.845 million distributed among the 523 beneficiaries.
