TAGUIG CITY — The fan-favorite Pokémon Truck has officially arrived in Metro Manila, making its Philippine debut at Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City from October 2 to 4, 2026. The mobile interactive lounge promises a unique gaming experience for fans of all ages.
A Mobile Gaming Lounge Like No Other
The custom-built, 17-foot truck features LED displays and cozy sofa seating, designed to offer ultimate gaming comfort. Inside, six Nintendo Switch 2 stations allow visitors to play the new life-simulation game, Pokémon Pokopia. Four stations inside the truck focus on Pokopia, while two additional stations offer a selection of other Nintendo games at featured stops.
This isn't just a vehicle—it's a portable entertainment hub that has already welcomed over 250,000 visitors across its tours in Singapore and Malaysia. Now, Filipino fans can enjoy the same immersive experience right in the heart of BGC.
Kick Off the Adventure at Market! Market!
The opening weekend at Market! Market! runs from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, offering a full slate of activities. Visitors can meet Pikachu during live appearances on selected weekend time slots, letting young artists express their creativity in a family coloring area, and strike a pose at the themed Pokémon Pokopia photo zone and photo wall.
These activities transform a simple mall visit into a memorable family outing. The event is designed to be inclusive and engaging, ensuring that both longtime Pokémon fans and newcomers can find something to enjoy.
A Tour Across Metro Manila and Beyond
After the BGC kickoff, the Pokémon Truck will continue its journey across the metro. It will rove along specific routes in Taguig, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Bacoor, Muntinlupa, Imus, Dasmariñas, and General Trias. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the truck circulates city areas, while from Friday to Sunday, it anchors at select locations with event stages and additional activity zones.
The weekend schedule includes stops at Ayala Malls Vermosa, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Ayala Malls Arca South, Ayala Malls Nuvali, and Ayala Malls Evo City. The tour runs through January 24, 2027, giving fans ample opportunity to catch the truck at a convenient location.
Celebrating 30 Years of Pokémon
The truck's arrival coincides with the 30th anniversary celebration of the Japanese media franchise, which kicks off this October. Highlights include the opening of the first Pokémon Center pop-up at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, and themed fun runs on October 3 and 4.
Kenichiro Fujino, manager at The Pokémon Company, said in a statement that the goal is to bring the experience to as many people in the Philippines as possible. The truck's tour across Metro Manila malls reflects that commitment to accessibility and community engagement.
