CEBU CITY — The highly anticipated Cebu Marathon 2027 is already breaking records as eager runners rush to secure their spots for the January 10 event. With the 10K category officially sold out, local and international athletes are scrambling to register before all remaining slots disappear.
Race to the Finish Line
The overwhelming response reflects the growing prestige of the marathon. Organizers urge interested participants to act quickly, as the remaining categories are rapidly reaching their maximum capacities. This massive turnout underscores the strong running culture in Cebu and the event's massive appeal.
While the 10K distance is closed, determined athletes can still secure their place in the 42K, 21K, and 5K categories. The full marathon has fewer than 900 slots left, the half marathon has under 2,900, and the 5K fun run is down to its final 200 spots.
Premium Race Kit Entitlements
Registration comes with a premium package for every distance. Runners will receive an official race shirt, a race kit bag, and a post-race meal. The 42K and 21K participants also earn a specialized dri-fit finisher shirt by Salt+Fin and a finisher towel.
Every category, including the 5K, rewards successful finishers with a coveted finisher medal. The registration fee ranges from ₱1,499 for the 5K to ₱2,999 for the full marathon. These comprehensive kits add incredible value to the overall race experience.
A Chance to Win Big
Adding thrilling excitement to the event, all registered participants automatically receive one entry to a grand raffle. The ultimate prize is a brand-new Omoda-Jaecoo J5 HEV, alongside other minor raffle prizes. This unique incentive adds a layer of suspense to the grueling race.
The raffle encourages even more runners to join, regardless of their pace. Combining physical endurance with an incredible stroke of luck makes the Cebu Marathon 2027 a truly unforgettable event. Runners must register soon to not miss out on this opportunity.
