Luxury new energy vehicle brand Denza by BYD is now welcoming visitors to its Greenhills dealership in San Juan, giving car enthusiasts and potential buyers a permanent place to experience the brand up close. The showroom, operated by E-Vantage Motors, Inc., is led by dealer principals Roger Chiu, Jessica Sy, Cesar Wee, and Walter “Wally” Alvarez – and it is ready for walk-in guests.
Greenhill offers round-the-year availability, while Denza is ready to attract a lot of attention with its participation in the MIAS (Manila International Auto Show) in 2026 that will take place between April 9th and April 12th at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. During the show, Denza will launch two PHEV SUV cars – Denza B5 and Denza B8.
The MIAS preview marks the first major appearance of Denza in an automobile show in the Philippines, following the company's official entry into the country with the introduction of the D9 multi-purpose luxury vehicle in February 2026. Other models in the Denza lineup include the B5, B8, and the upcoming Z9 GT.
Built for Versatility
The two SUVs both feature the Super DMO Technology (Dual Mode Off-Road) from Denza. It is a plug-in hybrid powertrain that maximizes electric drive for everyday commutes while featuring a petrol engine for extended range. The said technology was first released in the Philippine market through the BYD Shark 6 pickup.
The B5 comes as a five-seater and is fitted with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine along with two electric motors, having a total power output of 505 HP and 760 Nm of torque. With its 31.8 kWh BYD Blade battery pack, it can travel a distance of 100 km on pure electricity, while its overall range is estimated to be 975 km.
The B8, the bigger version, can be customized to have either six or seven seats. It has a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine along with dual electric motors, making its power 570 hp, with torque of 760 Nm. The battery capacity in this variant is higher at 36.8 kWh Blade, which gives an electric range of 115 km, whereas the total range is 1,040 km. The B8 also features DiSus-P active suspension.

Premium Features
The two variants use a body-on-frame design that comes with four-wheel drive and differential locks, ensuring capability both on city roads and off-road conditions. While the B5 has a Devialet audio system with sixteen speakers, the B8 variant sports eighteen speakers. Both have front seats that can be used for massage, along with a built-in refrigeration unit within the center console.
Global Star Power
Denza has partnered with British actor Daniel Craig, who has been chosen as the leading person in its worldwide campaign, thereby emphasizing Denza’s focus on classiness and performance. Commenting on the partnership, Stella Li, Global Executive Vice President of BYD, said: “Daniel Craig exemplifies a powerful combination of strength, classiness and authenticity which is synonymous with Denza’s philosophy.”
A Growing Presence – And a Place You Can Visit Now
Currently, Denza owns four flagship dealerships in the Philippines, located in Alabang, Makati, San Juan (Greenhills), and Cebu. Following the MIAS unveiling, the B5 and B8 will officially launch in the Philippine market later in 2026. But for those who want to get a feel for the brand today, the Greenhills branch is open and ready for visitors – no auto show ticket required.
