Business-to-Business Opportunities for Region 10
In the coming days, Region 10’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and tourism stakeholders will meet with Mindanao-based travel agencies, hotels, and potential institutional buyers. Through Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings and engaging product presentations, exhibitors will gain meaningful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and expand their market reach.
The B2B sessions are designed to create lasting partnerships between local tourism enterprises and travel agencies, helping bring Mindanao destinations and products to markets outside the island. This dual focus on consumers and industry strengthens the entire regional tourism ecosystem.
A Showcase of Mindanao’s Endless Wonders
MTEX 2026, themed “One Mindanao, Endless Wonders,” runs until October 4 at the Sultan Kudarat Gymnasium. The expo brings together DOT regional offices to promote tourism in Mindanao’s six regions. A travel and trade exhibit features Mindanao regions, local government units, airlines, and MSMEs offering tour packages, local delicacies, and artisan products.
Beyond showcasing destinations, the expo seeks to strengthen Mindanao’s tourism brand by encouraging travel links among regions and opening its destinations to a wider market. Cultural performances featuring indigenous dances and traditional music run throughout the event, celebrating the island’s rich cultural tapestry.
