A Strong Score From the People Who Used It
GENERAL SANTOS CITY - The 99.3% result came from the PSA’s quarterly Client Satisfaction Measurement conducted at the General Santos City Civil Registry System Outlet. The assessment covered transactions completed between September 7 and 11, 2026, with 149 successful interviews from a target sample of 150 respondents. Birth-certificate copies were the most frequently requested service, accounting for 77.3% of respondents, followed by marriage-certificate copies and CENOMAR/CEMAR certifications. Looking at actual users makes the result particularly useful: the rating reflects experiences of people who had recently gone through the outlet’s services, rather than a general impression of government offices.
Integrity and Reliability Stand Out
The assessment also looked beyond a single overall number by examining eight service-quality dimensions. Integrity received a 95.3% satisfaction rating, while reliability reached 94.6%, access and facilities scored 91.9%, and communication reached 90.6%. The PSA report said these results reflected clients’ perceptions of staff assistance, reliability, facilities, communication, and other parts of their experience. Several individual services also received very high marks, with marriage-certificate copies, CENOMAR/CEMAR certification, birth-certificate document printing, and marriage-certificate authentication each recording 100% satisfaction among surveyed users. These details provide a more rounded picture of what clients appreciated during the assessment.
A Service Used for Everyday Milestones
Civil registry documents may seem routine until a person suddenly needs one for an important reason. Birth certificates can become part of school, employment, identification, or travel requirements, while marriage and other civil-status documents can be needed for different personal and administrative transactions. The PSA assessment therefore captures something practical about life in General Santos: a government counter can become part of many significant moments without being the focus of attention itself. The strong third-quarter rating offers a positive indication of how surveyed clients viewed the service, while the comments and recommendations collected by the PSA can also help the outlet identify areas where it can continue improving.
