Different Interests Find Their Place at the Mall
GENERAL SANTOS CITY- The opening days of November continued the activities of SINDAK: GTEX Spookfest 2026, held at the Event Center of SM City General Santos from October 29 to November 2. Its program featured cosplay gatherings, a costume parade, tabletop and card games, a Beyblade event, and activities for toy and pop-culture enthusiasts. The schedule gave fans of different hobbies an opportunity to meet others who share their interests. It also showed how themed mall events can bring together communities that might not usually gather in the same space.
A Pre-Holiday Bazaar Filled with Local Finds
Another featured activity was Gensan MatchaFest Volume 5 and its Pre-Holiday Bazaar, which ran from October 29 to November 2 at the mall's Atrium. Participating vendors offered matcha drinks, baked goods, Filipino delicacies, creative crafts, collectibles, fashion items, and other specialty products. A stamp rally also encouraged visitors to explore participating booths while discovering different brands and products. Beyond the seasonal shopping atmosphere, the bazaar provided participating small businesses and independent sellers with a venue to introduce their offerings to mallgoers.
Holiday Excitement Builds Toward Christmas
These November-opening activities formed part of the wider festive atmosphere surrounding SM Supermalls' 2026 Christmas campaign, which was launched nationwide across 91 malls. The campaign highlights seasonal attractions, entertainment, dining, gift shopping, and opportunities for families and friends to spend time together. While individual mall schedules may differ, the nationwide program signals the beginning of a longer Christmas season for participating branches. Visitors planning another trip to SM City General Santos can check the mall's official announcements for confirmed dates and activities as the holiday calendar continues.
