The Provincial Government of Negros Oriental has brought its employees together through Sports Fest 2026, turning competition into an opportunity to build stronger connections, promote fitness, and celebrate teamwork across the province. Carrying the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the event highlights the dedication of government employees who work together in serving the people of Negros Oriental.
Bringing Employees Together Through Sports
Sports Fest 2026 officially kicked off with the participation of department heads and employees from different offices of the Provincial Government. Led by Governor Manuel “Chaco” Sagarbarria, together with Board Members Bruno Bouffard III, Erwin Macias, Nyrth Degamo, Woodrow Maquiling, and Carlo Degamo-Remontal, the celebration brought employees together in an atmosphere of energy, teamwork, and camaraderie.
Rather than being focused solely on winning, the event provides employees with an opportunity to connect with colleagues outside their usual workplace responsibilities.
