At the center of Always Yours, Never Mine are Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, who reunite for the film following their previous projects together. ABS-CBN Studios and Star Cinema announced the movie as a reunion project for the pair, with the official poster and promotional materials building anticipation for their return as onscreen partners.
The film is directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, with the story credited to Olivia Lamasan, Trishtan Perez, and Vanessa Valdez.
