Taguig City is strengthening its ability to respond to emergencies and deliver essential services with the addition of 63 new city vehicles and equipment. The new fleet represents an important investment in the city's day-to-day operations, from disaster response and rescue missions to road maintenance and public safety. More than simply adding vehicles, the initiative aims to provide city personnel with the tools they need to serve Taguigeños more efficiently.
A Fleet Built for Public Service
The new vehicles cover a wide range of functions and are designed to support different city departments in their field operations. Among the additions are fire trucks, rescue vehicles, dump trucks, dropside trucks, tow trucks, motorcycles, multipurpose vehicles, passenger vans, and a shuttle bus. Specialized equipment is also part of the new fleet, including a thermoplastic road-marking machine truck, mini asphalt paver with dump truck, boom pickup/aerial work platforms, and Magic Float–Scow.
Stronger Disaster and Emergency Response
When emergencies happen, having reliable equipment can make a significant difference in how quickly authorities can respond.
