Taguig welcomed home Miss Supranational 2026 Katrina Llegado following her historic victory at the international pageant in Poland. A post shared by Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano showed Llegado being welcomed in the city on September 19, with crowds gathering to see the newly crowned international titleholder. GMA News also reported that Llegado held her homecoming parade in Taguig City, riding on a float in her winning gown, sash, and crown while waving a Philippine flag.
From Taguig to the International Stage
Katrina Llegado has represented Taguig in several major pageant competitions. She competed for Taguig at Miss Universe Philippines 2022, where she finished as second runner-up, before returning as the city's representative in the 2025 edition. She eventually reached the Top 6 and was appointed Miss Philippines Supranational 2026. Her pageant journey began even earlier, when she competed in Mutya ng Taguig in 2018. She later joined Miss World Philippines 2019 and represented the Philippines at Reina Hispanoamericana 2020.
Katrina Llegado Wins Miss Supranational 2026
Llegado won the Miss Supranational 2026 crown in Poland, becoming the second Filipina to win the international title after Mutya Datul's victory in 2013. The victory ended a 13-year gap between Philippine wins in the competition. The official Miss Venezuela pageant site also identifies Llegado as the current Miss Supranational 2026 and notes that she is the second Philippine titleholder.
A Homecoming in Taguig
The September 19 homecoming brought Llegado back to the city she has represented in national pageants. Photos from the celebration showed the beauty queen greeting supporters while wearing her Miss Supranational crown and sash. Residents gathered along the parade route, with many taking photos and waving as she passed by.
The homecoming also reflected Llegado's long connection with Taguig's pageant community. GMA News reported that she represented the city in Miss Universe Philippines in both 2022 and 2025.
