Celebrating Precision and Determination
BACOLOD - The ceremony will recognize athletes who competed across Barebow Men and Women Open, Under-17 Women, Under-15 Men and Women, 50+ Men, PDC Under-13 Girls, Open Team Barebow, and the Mixed Team Event. Each category represents athletes at different stages of their sporting journeys, from young competitors developing their skills to experienced archers continuing to compete at a high level. Their performances highlight the concentration, consistency, and discipline required in a sport where even the smallest adjustment can influence the outcome.
A National Competition With an International Opportunity
Beyond the medals, the championship serves as an important step for athletes hoping to compete beyond the Philippines. Representatives selected from the qualifiers will have the opportunity to represent the country at the 2026 Asian Youth Archery Championship in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For young archers, reaching an international championship can provide valuable experience competing alongside athletes from across Asia and give them a chance to test their preparation on a much larger stage.
Bacolod Helps Put Young Talent in the Spotlight
Hosting and supporting major sporting activities gives Bacolod an opportunity to showcase the city's growing role in Philippine sports. With athletes gathering for national-level competition and young competitors pursuing international opportunities, the city's sports venues become places where ambition turns into experience. The medal ceremony is therefore more than a celebration of winners—it is a moment to recognize athletes who are building their skills today and may soon carry the Philippine flag into international competition.
