The event is a highlight of Tagum's Tourism Month celebration, designed to showcase the city's vibrant energy and scenic routes. Starting at 5:00 PM from the City Hall of Tagum Grounds, participants will race against the backdrop of a stunning sunset. The late afternoon start adds a special charm to the race. Runners will experience the transition from daylight to dusk as they traverse the course. This unique timing sets the Tagum Tourism Sunset Run apart from traditional morning marathons, creating a memorable experience for all.
Options for Every Runner
Organizers have prepared two race categories to cater to different fitness levels. A 5K run is available for those seeking a fun, accessible challenge, priced at ₱500. For more experienced runners looking for a longer distance, a 10K option is offered at ₱800.
Both categories promise a rewarding experience with quality inclusions. Participants will receive a singlet, race bib, wristband, and bandana. Finishers will also receive an acrylic medal, with 10K runners getting an additional loot bag.
Limited Slots, Register Early
Interested participants are encouraged to secure their spots early. The 5K category has 1,250 slots available, while the 10K offers 664 slots. With limited capacity, early registration ensures a place in this historic event.

Special awards also await the Oldest Runner, Youngest Runner, and Biggest Delegation. These unique categories celebrate diversity and community participation. The Biggest Delegation award includes a ₱5,000 prize, encouraging groups and organizations to join together.
