Army Navy opened its first store in Tagaytay in March 2009, serving fresh-made American-Mexican food — quarter-pound burgers and fat burritos with Spanish rice and frijoles — in a mess-hall-inspired setting. Originally a sister company of Yellow Cab Pizza, it developed its own identity and grew into the Philippines' largest Mexican-food chain and one of its biggest fast-casual burger chains, with 80+ stores nationwide.
