Kenny Rogers Roasters was founded in 1991 by American country-music legend Kenny Rogers together with former KFC CEO John Y. Brown Jr. The roast-chicken chain arrived in the Philippines in March 1995 with its first branch at Alabang Town Center and has since grown to more than 150 stores nationwide, known for its rotisserie-roasted chicken and signature corn muffins.
