Mary Grace Dimacali, a stay-at-home mom of five, began selling her perfected soft, cheese-topped ensaymada at a Christmas bazaar in 1994. The home business grew into a bakery kiosk in 2002 and the first full Cafe Mary Grace at Serendra, BGC in 2006. Known for its ensaymada, cheese rolls and homey Filipino cafe fare, the family-run chain now spans dozens of cafes and kiosks.
