Pancake House was founded in 1970 in Makati by Milagros Basa, Leticia Zamora, and Carmen Zaragoza to introduce American-style pancakes and waffles to Filipinos. It became a beloved all-day casual dining institution — pancakes, waffles, tacos, spaghetti and pan chicken — growing past 100 outlets and anchoring the Pancake House Group, later acquired by Max's Group.
