Tokyo Tokyo was established on April 7, 1985, opening its first restaurant at the Quad Carpark in Makati, and pioneered Japanese fast food in the Philippines as the first Japanese quick-service chain to serve unlimited rice with its meals. Its accessible take on tempura, tonkatsu, yakisoba and sushi helped popularize Japanese food nationwide. It is owned by Hansbury Inc. under the One Food Group.
