CEBU — The Philippines' most popular folk-pop band is bringing its music to Cebu's southern corridor tonight. Ben&Ben will perform at the SRP Vacant Lot in Talisay City on October 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM, promising an unforgettable open-air concert experience for fans across the province.
A Historic Open-Air Concert
The venue, a sprawling vacant lot along the South Road Properties, offers a unique setting for a major musical event. Unlike enclosed arenas, the open-air format allows for a festival-like atmosphere where thousands of Liwanag supporters can gather under the stars.
The location's proximity to Cebu City makes it accessible for fans traveling from various parts of the metro. Organized with the support of Music Unity Faith and Laag Ni Marky, the concert represents a growing trend of staging large-scale events outside traditional venues.
Traffic Advisory for Concertgoers
Motorists are advised of a road closure from San Isidro junction to Kalmar junction along the Cebu South Coastal Road southbound lane. The temporary closure runs from 6:00 PM to midnight to ensure safety for concert attendees.
The northbound lane will be converted into a two-way road to accommodate traffic flow. The public is encouraged to travel early and avoid the closure period to prevent inconvenience. Organizers and local authorities seek understanding and patience from all motorists.
What Fans Can Expect Tonight
Ben&Ben is known for emotionally charged performances and anthemic hits that resonate deeply with audiences. Fans can expect to hear beloved tracks such as "Leaves," "Maybe The Night," "Kathang Isip," and "Sa Susunod Na Habangbuhay."
The band's signature harmonies and heartfelt lyrics create an atmosphere of shared emotion and collective singing. The nine-piece ensemble delivers a rich, layered sound that has made them one of the country's most beloved musical acts.
Talisay City as a Concert Destination
Talisay City is steadily emerging as a viable destination for large-scale entertainment events. Its strategic location along the Cebu South Coastal Road connects it seamlessly to Cebu City and the broader South Road Properties area.
Concerts of this magnitude generate significant economic ripple effects. Hotels, restaurants, transport operators, and vendors all benefit from the influx of visitors. The event also reinforces Talisay's identity as a community that celebrates arts and culture.
A Night of Music and Unity
The October 10 concert carries a deeper theme of unity and shared experience. Music has the power to bring people together across generations, backgrounds, and walks of life. The band's songs explore themes of love, loss, resilience, and hope.
The organizers' partnership with Music Unity Faith underscores a commitment to values-driven entertainment. Fans are encouraged to bring friends and family, turning the evening into a shared memory under the open Cebu sky.
