Bacolod Police Put Their Uniforms on Display
BACOLOD - The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) successfully held its first “Pasundayag ng Kapulisan,” giving police officers an opportunity to showcase the different uniforms used throughout their service. During the activity on Friday, officers presented their respective uniforms and explained the roles and responsibilities associated with each one. The presentation offered the public a closer look at the various uniforms worn by members of the police force, including some that are rarely seen by the community. Beyond being a showcase, the activity provided an informative way of explaining how different uniforms reflect the duties performed by police personnel.
Showcasing the People Behind the Uniforms
According to BCPO Director PCol. Eugene Rebadomia, the activity was significant because it gave the police an opportunity to present all of their uniforms to the public for the first time. He also highlighted its value in boosting the morale of police personnel, particularly as their families could see them proudly wearing the uniforms connected to their respective duties. Activities that recognize the work of police officers can help strengthen their sense of pride and encourage greater appreciation for the responsibilities they carry. Rebadomia expressed his appreciation to Bacolod City Mayor Greg Gasataya, Lone District Representative Albee Benitez, various stakeholders, and PRO-NIR Regional Director Police Brigadier General Rudecindo Reales for supporting and allowing the “Pasundayag ng Kapulisan” to take place. The activity highlights how public safety organizations can engage communities through programs that go beyond traditional police operations. By presenting the people, uniforms, and responsibilities behind the police service, the event helped promote awareness while recognizing the dedication of Bacolod's law enforcement personnel.
