Young Bacolodnon Makes a Splash in Bangkok
BACOLOD - Eight-year-old Bacolodnon swimmer Mark Jacob Sabas brought pride to Bacolod City after winning five gold medals and one bronze medal at the Asian Open Swimming Invitation in Bangkok, Thailand. The young athlete, who comes from Trinity Christian School, competed in the international swimming event held from August 29 to 30. His impressive performance showcased his developing skills, determination, and potential as a young swimmer representing Bacolod on the international stage.
Five Gold Medals Across Multiple Events
Sabas secured gold medals in five categories, demonstrating his versatility across different swimming events. He topped the 25-meter Freestyle, 50-meter Freestyle, 100-meter Freestyle, 50-meter Butterfly, and 200-meter Freestyle Relay.
