NBI Clearance Processing Comes Closer to Residents
BACOLOD - Residents of Bacolod City now have another option for securing their NBI clearance following the opening of an NBI Clearance Center at the Government Service Express (GSE) of SM City Bacolod. The facility accepts both new applications and renewal transactions, giving applicants a more accessible venue for completing one of the commonly required documents for employment, travel, applications, and other official transactions. The center is located on the third floor of the mall's north wing and operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The location gives residents the opportunity to combine their NBI clearance transaction with other errands and government-related services available within the mall.
Government Service Express Expands One-Stop Transactions
The NBI facility forms part of the Government Service Express, which brings services from different government agencies together in a single location. Instead of visiting separate government offices across the city, residents can use the mall-based hub to handle several official transactions in a more centralized setting. NBI Bacolod District Office agent-in-charge Manuel Fayre Jr. described the setup as a way to make the clearance process easier, particularly for people who already visit SM City Bacolod for other government transactions. The arrangement can help reduce the need for applicants to make separate trips to different offices while making public services more accessible to the community.
Making Everyday Government Transactions More Convenient
The new NBI Clearance Center reflects the continuing effort to bring essential government services closer to the people. By placing clearance processing alongside other public services, the Government Service Express provides residents with a more convenient way to manage important documents and official requirements. For Bacolod residents, the facility offers a straightforward option for new NBI clearance applications and renewals, while its mall location provides added convenience for those combining government transactions with their regular shopping and personal errands. The initiative contributes to making public service delivery more accessible and responsive within the city.
