PHILIPPINES — Pag-IBIG Fund and Robinsons Land Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding on October 5, 2026, expanding affordable homeownership options for Filipino workers under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program.
A New Pathway to Homeownership
The partnership gives qualified Pag-IBIG members access to participating RLC Residences properties, including ready-for-occupancy units, with preferential pricing and buyer incentives. The agreement was signed by Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta and Robinsons Land President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio, witnessed by DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling.
Acosta emphasized that affordable home prices matched with financing within members' means make the dream of owning a home more attainable. She noted that lower monthly payments help families sustain repayments while leaving room for other necessities, savings, and future plans.
Expanded Loan Limits and Promotional Rates
The partnership follows Pag-IBIG Fund's move in June 2026 to raise its maximum housing loan amount to P10 million. This gives middle-income earners more housing choices. The fund also offers promotional rates of 4.5 percent per year for loans up to P4.9 million and 5.75 percent for loans above P4.9 million up to P10 million, fixed for the first three years and available until the end of 2026.
Aliling said the growing participation of leading developers shows the President's housing directive is bearing fruit. He noted that government and private-sector partners are turning shared commitment into concrete opportunities for more Filipinos to own a home.
Support Services for Member
Under the agreement, members will have access to home-matching activities, housing fairs, member briefings, and online promotions. Housing loan counseling and assistance with documentary requirements will help members understand what they can afford and how to apply.
Aragon-GoBio said the partnership brings together Pag-IBIG's financing solutions and RLC Residences' diverse portfolio. She emphasized that progress as a developer is measured not just by buildings completed but by the lives touched and families welcomed.
Building on Expanded 4PH Momentum
The collaboration strengthens the Marcos administration's Expanded 4PH Program, which aims to bring quality homes within reach of Filipino workers. Pag-IBIG Fund has been actively partnering with developers to match affordable housing with accessible financing.
With the P10-million loan ceiling and promotional rates, more members can now consider a wider range of properties. The partnership with Robinsons Land adds another major developer to Pag-IBIG's growing roster of allies in making homeownership a reality for more Filipino families.
