Connecting Students With Modern Agricultural Technology
BOHOL - The Agriculture Student Association (ASA) of Bohol Island State University–Bilar Campus actively supported the Kubota Saka Agritalk 2026 held on August 13–14, 2026, under the theme “REIGNITE: Reignite ang Sigla sa Modernong Pagsasaka.” Organized in partnership with Agrimach CG Corporation and Kubota Philippines, Inc., the two-day activity gave students from the College of Agricultural Sciences an opportunity to learn more about modern agricultural machinery. Through lectures, product presentations, machinery demonstrations, and hands-on activities, participants gained practical insights into how technology can contribute to the future of farming.
ASA Members Provide Support Behind the Scenes
Beyond participating in the learning activities, ASA members also served as additional manpower throughout the event. Students assisted with preparations, on-site coordination, and other logistical tasks needed to keep the program organized. Their involvement also extended to aftercare and lead work, demonstrating the importance of teamwork and active participation in making agricultural initiatives successful. By taking on these responsibilities, the students gained experience not only in agricultural technology but also in event coordination, cooperation, and community involvement.

The active participation of ASA highlights how agricultural advancement depends not only on modern machinery but also on people who are willing to learn, contribute, and work together. By supporting programs that introduce students to new technologies, the association helps create stronger connections between agricultural education and the evolving needs of the farming sector. The Kubota Saka Agritalk 2026 also provided students with an opportunity to see how innovation and human effort can work hand in hand in promoting more modern and productive agriculture in Bohol.
