DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — The City Government of Dasmariñas is calling on all job seekers to mark their calendars for the 2026 Job Fair Series, which kicks off on August 14 at Robinsons Dasmariñas. The event promises direct access to employers and real hiring opportunities.
A Door to New Careers Opens This Friday
The first leg of the job fair series will be held at the Level 2 Activity Area of Robinsons Dasmariñas, starting at nine in the morning. Job seekers can meet hiring managers face‑to‑face, submit multiple applications in a single venue, and possibly get hired on the spot. The city has scheduled three additional dates throughout the year to ensure continuous access to employment.
Organized by the City Government in partnership with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), the fair aims to bridge the gap between local talent and industries. The event welcomes fresh graduates, experienced professionals, career shifters, and skilled workers alike. Participating companies span various sectors, offering positions from entry‑level to technical and managerial roles.
Opportunities Spread Across the Year
Beyond the August 14 launch, three more fairs are scheduled on October 22, November 13, and December 11. This staggered approach allows job seekers multiple chances to connect with employers throughout the year. Each event follows the same format, with registration opening at nine in the morning at the same venue.
The city government recognizes that a single job fair may not capture everyone, so the series is designed to provide recurring access. Whether someone misses the first date or seeks a better fit later, subsequent fairs offer fresh opportunities. The commitment reflects the local government’s dedication to reducing unemployment and boosting the local economy.
How to Make the Most of the Fair
Job seekers are encouraged to arrive early and come prepared. Bringing five to ten printed copies of an updated resume, along with photocopies of valid IDs and academic records, is strongly advised. Dressing in professional attire and preparing a short self‑introduction can make a strong first impression on recruiters.
Many companies conduct on‑the‑spot interviews, so applicants should be ready to discuss their skills and experience immediately. Having essential documents like NBI clearance or TESDA certificates on hand can also speed up the hiring process. The goal is to walk out of the fair with a job offer, not just a list of leads.
A City That Invests in Its Workforce
The job fair series is part of Dasmariñas City’s broader effort to build a resilient and skilled workforce. By connecting residents directly with employers, the local government reduces the barriers that often delay employment. The initiative also supports the city’s economic growth by ensuring that businesses have access to qualified local talent.
