Bacoor played host to the 2026 World Café of Opportunities on August 27, 2026, at SM City Bacoor, where TESDA Cavite brought together government agencies and industry partners to connect residents with free skills training, job placements, and business support services. The event, held under the theme "Husay • Tibay • Tagumpay," served as a one-stop hub for Caviteños seeking to upgrade their skills, find employment, or start their own businesses.
A One-Stop Hub for Skills, Jobs, and Business
The World Café of Opportunities is TESDA's flagship event designed to make government services more accessible to the public. The August 27 event in Bacoor delivered on that promise by gathering key agencies and employers in one location, making it easier for residents to explore multiple pathways to economic empowerment.
The initiative was built around three core pillars to support participants: Training Places, which provided access and enrollment for free or subsidized skills-training programs; Job Placement, which offered direct recruitment and job-matching opportunities with both local and international employers; and Business Assistance, which provided guidance, resources, and structural support for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start small enterprises.
This model recognizes that different individuals have different needs—some may need new skills to qualify for better jobs, while others may already have the skills but need help finding the right employer or starting their own venture.

Participants Can Explore Free TESDA Courses and Job Openings
Visitors to the event had the chance to explore a wide range of TESDA-accredited courses, often offered for free under scholarship programs like the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). These courses cover fields such as automotive, electronics, construction, food processing, healthcare, and information technology.
The job placement component connected jobseekers with employers from various industries, including manufacturing, retail, and business process outsourcing. The event also provided a venue for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn about business registration, financial management, and other essentials for starting a small enterprise.
Events like the World Café of Opportunities play a crucial role in helping Caviteños access government programs that might otherwise be difficult to navigate. By bringing everything under one roof, TESDA and its partners removed barriers and made it easier for residents to take the next step toward a better future.
