The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) has expanded its partnership with Cavite farmer groups, signing new marketing agreements with more Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs). The signing took place on July 2, 2026, at the PNPA in Silang, Cavite, where Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, PNPA Acting Director, formalized the agreements.
Expanding Market Opportunities for Cavite Farmers
The recent agreement builds on an existing partnership that began in 2023 through the DAR-PNPA Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (PAHP) program . The program aims to link agrarian reform beneficiaries with institutional buyers, providing them with a guaranteed market for their products at a fair price . Under the expanded marketing agreement, partner ARBOs directly supply fresh agricultural products to the PNPA's Cadets' Mess Hall, ensuring the Academy receives a continuous supply of quality produce .
The new partnership adds the Barangay Tua Farmers Agriculture Cooperative to the roster of suppliers, alongside the Tres Cruces Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Farmers Association, Inc. and Daine 1&2 Farmers Association, Inc. . DAR Cavite Provincial Office noted that the expansion reflects the PNPA's continued confidence in the quality, consistency, and reliability of agricultural products supplied by Cavite farmer groups.
