CEBU CITY — Displaying grace, rhythm, and unrelenting discipline, Dancesport Team Ormoc City delivered a stellar performance at the prestigious WDSF–PDSF Cebu Open 2026, held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. Competing against top-tier talents from across the region, the young athletes brought home a massive haul of podium finishes, cementing Ormoc's growing reputation as a powerhouse in competitive dancesport.

Exceptional Performances on the Regional Stage

The competition floor saw brilliant teamwork and dazzling routines from Ormoc’s delegation of young dancers across various age brackets and categories. Every medal earned reflected countless hours of grueling practice, sacrifices, and a shared passion for the sport.

Leading the charge, the pair of Prince and Raisa put on a dominant display, capturing 1st Place finishes in Junior 2A, Junior 2C, and the prestigious WDSF International Junior category. They also secured a respectable 3rd Place in Inter-High School A and a commendable 2nd Place in the SEA Plus Youth Games (YG) Standard.

Equally impressive were Amber & Brent, who claimed 1st Place in Junior 1C and a strong 2nd Place in Junior 1A. In the juvenile divisions, Ron Khaleb and Athira danced their way to double 1st Place victories in Juvenile 1C and Juvenile 1A, alongside dual 4th-place finishes in the Inter-Elementary divisions.

Meanwhile, EZHEKIEL & FAITH dominated the elementary field with 1st Place finishes in both Inter-Elem C and Inter-Elem A, while adding a 4th-place finish in Junior 1C. Carlos and Amia also made waves, grabbing 1st Place in Junior 1C, 2nd Place in Inter-High School C, and 5th Place in the SEA Plus YG Standard.
